[battle] strained to find time to build a functional website encapsulating xy's strong brand and pleasing loyal readers, while also serving as editor for the magazine. the resulting site is visually stunning, techincally solid and has scaled nicely to handle the 1m+ visitors each month.

Because of its focus on youth, most of the magazine's content comes directly from reader contributions. On XY.com we provided a series of complex forms which allow contributors to upload their stories, poetry, photos, film reviews, etc.
All content gets automatically stored into a searchable, sortable database for use by the magazine staff.
